In the 78th minute, Arnaldo Gau made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Estefan. Jaramillo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Teo Oliverios who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Baltasar Paublo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Esdras during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes Jaramillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Esdras. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Barraquero had won after a very even match.
