Domingo Qwinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Encrucijada AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zeledon Demesio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 11th match minute, Chalicán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Adrio to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Encrucijada AFC's Adrian Rosio tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Zeledon Demesio came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Damian Frederico could save by the left post. Flavio Misael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jacinto Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Flavio Misael had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Abarca. Chalicán AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavio Misael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Damian Frederico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Qwinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Encrucijada AFC! In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Chalicán AFC. Desiderio Piorno stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Damian Frederico. 1-1. If Felipe Montrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Montrell in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chalicán AFC's zone, Felipe Montrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Abarca came out of the goal and Felipe Montrell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeledon Demesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Frederico having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Armando Hori took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damian Frederico. Encrucijada AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Domingo Qwinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Montrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jacinto Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Astor Ilixo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Felipe Montrell got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jacinto Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Gar in the 66th minute of the match. Felipe Montrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaias Gar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jacinto Abarca firmly grabbed it by the left post. 74 minutes into the match, Encrucijada AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Demesio came free, but Damian Frederico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Montrell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Jacinto Abarca made a huge save. A collision led to Chalicán AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Desiderio Piorno hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Demesio in the 90th minute of play forced Encrucijada AFC's goalkeeper Damian Frederico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Domingo Qwinton made a precise shot to the right of Damian Frederico. Encrucijada AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Montrell got free with Jacinto Abarca in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chalicán AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
