Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Benigno Vergaray got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Roque Gartzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ayacucho! Ayacucho:s Cristian Papo showed great skill when he stopped Felix Stephen:s penalty. Cristian Papo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Galeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ayacucho fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Ayacucho's Benigno Vergaray looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cristian Papo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Galeno in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Ayacucho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Sal to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Vergaray in the 24th minute of the match. Javier Galeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Cristian Papo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Javier Galeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ayacucho's Cristian Papo got control of the ball when Silverio Aballe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silverio Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Papo having to interfere. Vladimiro Sal kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Tuyubil were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after Ayacucho's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felix Stephen took the corner.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Galeno to make the kick off. Ayacucho's Paulo Havier got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Havier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Santo having to interfere. A collision led to Tuyubil getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Virgilio Goizeder hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the game, Paulo Havier lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Edgard Santo. In the 66th minute Silverio Aballe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Papo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Havier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Edgard Santo made a huge save. If Javier Galeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ayacucho's Benigno Vergaray in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tuyubil's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Tuyubil getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Donato Nevada hit a great ball. Melquiades Herena kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ayacucho's Cristian Papo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Ferrando in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ayacucho's goalkeeper Cristian Papo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Javier Galeno notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ayacucho's Cristian Papo. Cristian Papo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Ayacucho's zone, Silverio Aballe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Papo came out of the goal and Silverio Aballe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Javier Galeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Papo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Tuyubil's Silverio Aballe got a good chance for a goal in the 102nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Tuyubil manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Ayacucho to win.
