Los Destos AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jacobo Argider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Doga, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Anacleto Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Catamarca FC booed when Los Destos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Savion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erubiel Ferrando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Raul Luix made a huge save. George Doga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Argider having to make a save. Los Destos AFC's Jacobo Argider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Doga in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Angelino Frichoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catamarca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Frichoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Angelino Frichoso made the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Argider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Fonda in the 55th minute of play. Raul Luix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino George, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th play minute George Doga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jacobo Argider. 0-1. Los Destos AFC's Bernardino George got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Los Destos AFC's Jacobo Argider got control of the ball when Angelino Frichoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Los Destos AFC's goalkeeper Jacobo Argider had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Doga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Ramond in the 82nd minute of play forced Catamarca FC's goalkeeper Raul Luix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barnabas Mcmahon's late challenge caught a Los Destos AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barnabas Mcmahon helped the player get up and apologised. Raul Luix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Ferrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Angelino Frichoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Argider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Doga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jacobo Argider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Catamarca FC's George Doga got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Angelino Frichoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catamarca FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
