The supporters of tigres booed when Yuchán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Mano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Gabino in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaudencio Nerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Domingos Gregory could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Gaudencio Nerio made a huge save. Dalmacio Belarmo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Yuchán FC's goalkeeper Alberto Sal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leo Gabino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaudencio Nerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Yuchán FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Valery. When Filomeno Dolfo fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored tigres's protests and gave Filomeno Dolfo a yellow card for diving instead. Filomeno Dolfo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Leo Gabino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yuchán FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Gabino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, tigres's Agustin Nahia got a free kick in the 38th minute. Leo Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingos Gregory's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gaudencio Nerio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gaudencio Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Gabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

After a rather tough play, Yuchán FC's Domingos Gregory got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute, German Aritza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes, Yuchán FC's Blas Mano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gaudencio Nerio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Gaudencio Nerio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alberto Sal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Foro went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Yuchán FC's Alberto Sal got control of the ball when Luis Foro tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Leo Gabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuchán FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
