Spectators: 7295 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 100) An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Vistruario in the 11th minute of play forced Caracara FC's goalkeeper Silvio Meendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anibal Vistruario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Meendez having to interfere. After some careless play in the Suriyaco defense, Dario Perutxo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Eron. The Suriyaco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Eron should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute Anibal Vistruario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Meendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Caracara FC's zone, Guillermo Ourente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Meendez came out of the goal and Guillermo Ourente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Caracara FC's Delmar Bernabel in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norberto Eron showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
