Gavino Guipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Colibries Dorados FC's goalkeeper Gavino Guipuzkoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Naelio. Gavino Guipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Henrico, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Esteban Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Guipuzkoa having to interfere. Gaspar Henrico in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gavino Guipuzkoa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fermin Laurentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Gaspar Henrico fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gaspar Henrico struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Gavino Guipuzkoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esquiú AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Esteban Naelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esquiú AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Naelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavino Guipuzkoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th match minute, Colibries Dorados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Goren to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Narciso Cibran took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gavino Guipuzkoa to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 35 minutes, Esteban Naelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esquiú AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Naelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Henrico in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavino Guipuzkoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute Fermin Laurentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Emeterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cecilio Cristofol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gaspar Henrico made the kick off in the second half. Colibries Dorados FC's Gavino Guipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Henrico in the 69th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play, Esquiú AFC's Gaspar Henrico made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavino Guipuzkoa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gavino Guipuzkoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Henrico in the 75th minute of play. Fermin Laurentzi struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Gregorio Emeterio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colibries Dorados FC. Gregorio Emeterio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorio Goren in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Colibries Dorados FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Henrico came free, but Gavino Guipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
