Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 0) Denis Roland started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gustavo Lorenz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jorge Lucila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Lucila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Lorenz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Rafel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Lucila having to interfere. Trapalcó AFC's Jorge Lucila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Lorenz in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Trapalcó AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Tallia to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Trapalcó AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Segundo Tallia hit a great ball. Marcos Rafel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Lucila having to interfere. Esteros's Lisandro Isaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Aires in the 29th minute of play. Lisandro Isaio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Aires's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Mauro Aires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Mauro Aires came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Trapalcó AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Aires couldn't finish the play. Rafael Turi's late challenge caught a Trapalcó AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Turi helped the player get up and apologised. Lisandro Isaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Aires, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Lorenz made a kick off. The supporters of Trapalcó AFC booed when Esteros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Rafel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Gustavo Lorenz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Lucila. Trapalcó AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Lorenz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Trapalcó AFC's Lucio Erasto pulled a muscle in his leg after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gustavo Lorenz's late challenge caught a Trapalcó AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Lorenz helped the player get up and apologised. Gustavo Lorenz hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Mauro Aires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Esteros's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mauro Aires fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 80 minutes into the match, Gustavo Lorenz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Lucila. Trapalcó AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Lorenz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Romulo Dunixi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Marcos Rafel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esteros's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Rafel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Lucila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Lorenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Lucila having to interfere. When Marcos Rafel came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Esteros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Rafel couldn't finish the play. Trapalcó AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
