Edgard Cugat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Eudoxio in the 6th minute of play. Genaro Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Nalo having to interfere. Reynaldo Nalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Baumar, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Reynaldo Nalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Baumar in the 12th minute of play. Augusto Lesardo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Tupungata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Arnas to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Tupungata FC booed when Yaros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Maiorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Joaquin Urti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgard Cugat showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Yaros getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Abelardo Gartzi hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes Yaros got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Gartzi. Edgard Cugat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Marin in the 40th minute of the match. Zeledon Baumar might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Nalo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zeledon Baumar ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zeledon Baumar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Genaro Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Nalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernan Eudoxio got free with Edgard Cugat in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hernan Eudoxio scored 0-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgard Cugat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Zeledon Baumar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Zeledon Baumar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Baumar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Tupungata FC's Augusto Lesardo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgard Cugat. Edgard Cugat yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Edgard Cugat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Marin in the 76th minute of play. Zeledon Baumar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tupungata FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Nalo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Tupungata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Joseph came free, but Reynaldo Nalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 98 minutes Tupungata FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Natalio Louis who took care of the corner kick. Tupungata FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
