In the 5th minute, Sigfrido Auletta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Muamer Fahrić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Algitas Jokubaitis in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. After 10th play minutes Algitas Jokubaitis shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Flavio Vittori and just under the crossbar into goal. Zaccheo Andolina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Muamer Fahrić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Gondor FC™ defense, Zaccheo Andolina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Muamer Fahrić. The Gondor FC™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Muamer Fahrić should have stopped the shot. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nedžo Jevtić in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Gondor FC™ got a corner. Italy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nedžo Jevtić ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Nedžo Jevtić almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Italy's Flavio Vittori did a great save. Muamer Fahrić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Zaccheo Andolina made a precise shot to the right of Muamer Fahrić. Gondor FC™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mino Suarez in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Mino Suarez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flavio Vittori. The goal made the score 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 32nd minute of play forced Gondor FC™'s goalkeeper Muamer Fahrić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muamer Fahrić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zaccheo Andolina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Muamer Fahrić was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalibor Kaplanović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mino Suarez in the 43rd minute. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algitas Jokubaitis, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Porziano Marchitelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Porziano Marchitelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Algitas Jokubaitis made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gondor FC™'s goalkeeper Muamer Fahrić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algitas Jokubaitis in the 56th minute of play. Siricio Liotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Muamer Fahrić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gondor FC™ made a substitution. Saša Daničić replaced Nedžo Jevtić. Zaccheo Andolina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Muamer Fahrić came out and tried to block the shot, but Zaccheo Andolina slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 66th minute. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalibor Kaplanović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Gondor FC™'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Porziano Marchitelli fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 72 minutes into the match, Gondor FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Muamer Fahrić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 minutes Gondor FC™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. Muamer Fahrić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Sostene Vitulli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siricio Liotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. After 93 minutes of play, Italy's Adriano Curto made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Muamer Fahrić was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Gondor FC™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Italy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
