With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Horado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venancio Gombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Horado having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Kesoku FC's Paulino Remicio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariano Horado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rueda AFC's Mariano Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Remicio in the 14th minute of play. If Paulino Remicio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paulino Remicio struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Mariano Horado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kesoku FC. After 35 minutes of play, Kesoku FC's Paulino Remicio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Horado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mariano Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Remicio in the 38th minute of the match. After the first half Kesoku FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Rueda AFC booed when Kesoku FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Gombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulino Remicio got free with Mariano Horado in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulino Remicio took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Horado. Mariano Horado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. With his leg Mariano Horado managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Kesoku FC's Paulino Remicio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
