Efrain Joanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Cedro in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Fidel Roderigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Casado kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Saverio Jakue in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Prudencio Cordaro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Saverio Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Firman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Cordaro having to interfere. Prudencio Cordaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Jakue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efrain Joanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Cedro in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Fidel Roderigo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Larroude's Efrain Joanes. Efrain Joanes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 31 minutes, Saverio Jakue made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Haumonia AFC's Prudencio Cordaro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Saverio Jakue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Prudencio Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Cedro in the 38th minute of play forced Larroude's goalkeeper Efrain Joanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saverio Jakue struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Prudencio Cordaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Larroude. 44 minutes into the match, Larroude's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Pagomari came free, but Efrain Joanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Saverio Jakue managed to get in a good position for a shot. Larroude's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Jakue was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prudencio Cordaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of Larroude booed when Haumonia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Iturri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, a hard, long distance shot from Isaias Salvino hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. 55 minutes in the game, Saverio Jakue dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Saverio Jakue sped through Haumonia AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Prudencio Cordaro. Larroude's Enzo Ignado was substituted for Saverio Jakue. When Moises Cedro came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Haumonia AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Cedro couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Haumonia AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Benjamin Casado hit a great ball. Gervasio Katia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Efrain Joanes. Larroude's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
