Santiago Salamon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, La Cantera Mexicana's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Patrido came free, but Fermin Onofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Eguerdi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Santiago Salamon came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximino Eguerdi slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 23rd minute. 29 minutes into the game, Elias Loreto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Cantera Mexicana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deivis FC the free kick. Elias Loreto kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Maximino Eguerdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leon Esiquio kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Gerardo Patrido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fermin Onofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
