The audience was convinced that Gogo Gaueko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Bitxintxo was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. With his leg Emiliano Bitxintxo managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when British Falklands Club's Joaquin Polentzi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 90th minute Domingo Endura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Bitxintxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Bitxintxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Gaueko in the 92nd minute of the match. British Falklands Club made a substitution. Hermengildo Senio replaced Anselmo Martxel. For all the effort they put into the match, the Canallas F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for British Falklands Club.
