A collision led to Union Teporocha getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Emanuel Nerio hit a great ball. In the 6th minute of the match Filomeno Iratzeder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Sanchez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Union Teporocha's Emanuel Nerio got a free kick in the 8th minute. Nemesio Ur scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Gumaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filomeno Iratzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Sanchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Maxin in the 16th minute of play. TIBURONES ROJOS VERACRUZ's Baltasar Gumaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Ur in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute Cornelio Nastasio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Gumaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Tajo in the 23rd minute of play forced TIBURONES ROJOS VERACRUZ's goalkeeper Baltasar Gumaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Cornelio Nastasio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltasar Gumaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Baltasar Gumaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Nastasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeo Ignado kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, Union Teporocha's Nemesio Ur made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baltasar Gumaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Pastor Jax managed to get in a good position for a shot. Union Teporocha's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Jax was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Gumaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the game, Cornelio Nastasio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Baltasar Gumaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When Serafino Tajo fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Union Teporocha's protests and gave Serafino Tajo a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Union Teporocha got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Tajo. Mario Sanchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Cordarryl in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Serafino Tajo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of TIBURONES ROJOS VERACRUZ booed when Union Teporocha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Jax didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafino Tajo was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of TIBURONES ROJOS VERACRUZ booed when Union Teporocha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Tajo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cornelio Nastasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, TIBURONES ROJOS VERACRUZ's goalkeeper Baltasar Gumaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nemesio Ur. Baltasar Gumaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeo Ignado went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Filomeno Iratzeder took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mario Sanchez. Mario Sanchez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. 88 minutes into the game, Nemesio Ur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baltasar Gumaro. Nemesio Ur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. When Tadeo Ignado came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Union Teporocha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Ignado couldn't finish the play. The TIBURONES ROJOS VERACRUZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Union Teporocha's performance. The match ended with a win for Union Teporocha.
