Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 4th minute, Anastasio Teodor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pellegrini's Feliciano Aureo got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Andres Transito fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Anastasio Teodor scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Ferman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliciano Aureo in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Hever saved Soto FC from getting behind. Feliciano Aureo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Domingos Bermudo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes, Soto FC's Andres Transito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcelo Ferman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Soto FC reached it. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Feliciano Aureo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eriberto Hever. In the 37thth minute of the game Feliciano Aureo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soto FC's Eriberto Hever was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Soto FC's Andres Transito got a free kick in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Soto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Aureo came free, but Eriberto Hever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angel Bastian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Ferman having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Anastasio Teodor made the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Ferman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Bastian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eriberto Hever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Aureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eriberto Hever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Aureo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Angel Bastian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Aureo in the 83rd minute of play forced Soto FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Hever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Andres Transito fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soto FC's protests and gave Andres Transito a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pellegrini booed when Soto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Transito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Ferman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Teodor, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliciano Aureo in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto Hever prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 94 minutes, Jonathan Basajaun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pellegrini's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Basajaun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feliciano Aureos short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Eriberto Hever to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
