Spectators: 8147 (Terracing: 6111, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 162) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Libardo Cabrera got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Cañete AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Demesio to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Cañete AFC's Adolfo Monzon got a free kick in the 4th minute. Cañete AFC's Adolfo Monzon got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute Libardo Cabrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnau Lobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Forgotten's Doğaner Yağıztekin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Remigio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 20th minute, Cañete AFC's Tadeo Rioja seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tadeo Rioja the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cañete AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tadeo Rioja had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Cañete AFC's Tadeo Rioja got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jonathan Pes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnau Lobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Libardo Cabrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cañete AFC's Benigno Remigio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Pes in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Forgotten's goal looked a bit too open when Libardo Cabrera came free, but Arnau Lobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Libardo Cabrera in the 31st minute of play forced Forgotten's goalkeeper Arnau Lobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Forgotten's Valentin Tirso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benigno Remigio. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. Ciro Abajas's late challenge caught a Cañete AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Abajas helped the player get up and apologised. Libardo Cabrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doğaner Yağıztekin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Forgotten's Amadeo Celino got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Libardo Cabrera received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnau Lobo came out and tried to block the shot, but Libardo Cabrera slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 54th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Libardo Cabrera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnau Lobo. Forgotten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Libardo Cabrera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 71st minute, Atilano Demesio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Forgotten's Bülent Ayyıldız was substituted for Dan Petrescu. Benigno Remigio came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Forgotten's Jonathan Pes. But to his dismay, Jonathan Pes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Arnau Lobo made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Osvaldo Larpe sent off a good shot on target. Forgotten's Mehmet Efe Tekiner was substituted for Doğaner Yağıztekin. Libardo Cabrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Arnau Lobo made a huge save. The nice shot from Libardo Cabrera in the 89thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Arnau Lobo had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Benigno Remigio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Efe Tekiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. If Atilano Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cañete AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
