The tension between the Pellegrini and the Union Teporocha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pellegrini's Ruperto Jokin got a free kick in the 15th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Serafino Tajo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Union Teporocha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Tajo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 minutes of play Pellegrini's Ruperto Jokin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ruperto Jokin kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Pellegrini's Marcelo Ferman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Ignado in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Emanuel Nerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Union Teporocha getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Cornelio Nastasio hit a great ball. Union Teporocha were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Pellegrini's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Pellegrini's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of Union Teporocha booed when Pellegrini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Honrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Nemesio Ur put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelo Ferman. Serafino Tajo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliciano Aureo to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Ferman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Tajo in the 55th minute of the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Urbano Gregory managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pellegrini's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Gregory was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Pellegrini's Marcelo Ferman got control of the ball when Tadeo Ignado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pellegrini's Marcelo Ferman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Tajo in the 92nd minute of play. Marcelo Ferman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Ur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorio Crescencio kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Despite being the better team, Pellegrini failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
