After a defensive mix-up in Soto FC's zone, Amado Cordarryl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Hever came out of the goal and Amado Cordarryl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustaquio Florinio charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eustaquio Florinio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Andres Transito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anastasio Teodor to strike the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Hever came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by TIBURONES ROJOS VERACRUZ's Amado Cordarryl. But to his dismay, Amado Cordarryl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Eriberto Hever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Cordarryl in the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Elias Tximitx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Hever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
