With a little luck, International's Norberto Polentzi got control of the ball when Desiderio Olo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mete Verga struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Norberto Polentzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Special One. After 20 minutes International's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Agustin Ilazki who took care of the corner kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mete Verga couldn't finish the play. In the 87thth minute of the game Honorio Afonso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but International's Norberto Polentzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, The Special One's Gabriel Stålhammar got a free kick in the 89th minute. Norberto Polentzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Afonso's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Mete Verga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norberto Polentzi. International's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mete Verga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. When the referee ended the match the The Special One players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
