The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The The Special One fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when The Special One's Desiderio Olo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 15 minutes of play, The Special One's Desiderio Olo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Arista was left in no man's land by his defense there! When The Special One's Desiderio Olo in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Desiderio Olo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 40th minute, Desiderio Olo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Arista was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Los Hijos del Papá's zone, Mete Verga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Arista came out of the goal and Mete Verga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Special One's Desiderio Olo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Los Hijos del Papá's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Olo came free, but Alfredo Arista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Ali Numan Ünalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Shantala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desiderio Olo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Special One's Mete Verga got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Desiderio Olo got free with Alfredo Arista in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Honorio Afonso took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Alfredo Arista to make any attempt to save it. Alberto Villarreal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Desiderio Olo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Alfredo Arista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mete Verga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Desiderio Olo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alfredo Arista. The goal made the score 0-8. When the final whistle sounded The Special One left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Hijos del Papá.
