If Genaro Mambru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20thth minute of the game Denis Quirze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amicha's Paulo Seguinus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Genaro Mambru hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, International was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Vigil to maneuver through the defense. Eulalio Beremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. After 50 played minutes International got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Jaume. Norberto Polentzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Beremundo in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, International's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Beremundo came free, but Norberto Polentzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Nicolas Frantzes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Seguinus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Frantzes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genaro Mambru in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Eulalio Beremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amicha's supporters rose to their feet, but Eulalio Beremundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Polentzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. International's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
