Seating: 1877, VIP seats: 162) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Romulo Lalla kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, The Special One's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Lalla came free, but Israel Tancredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Israel Tancredo made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Roque Roso sent off a good shot on target. After 14 played minutes Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Santi Ogazón. After 14 played minutes The Special One got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Afonso. 16 minutes into the game, Juan Fernando Pratto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Israel Tancredo. Juan Fernando Pratto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 20 minutes, Juan Fernando Pratto made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. The Special One's Israel Tancredo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When The Special One's Desiderio Olo in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santa Fe's goalie prevented a goal. 28 minutes into the match, The Special One's goalkeeper Israel Tancredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Roso. 30 minutes into the match, Juan Fernando Pratto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Israel Tancredo. The Special One's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Fernando Pratto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After some careless play in the The Special One defense, Romulo Lalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Israel Tancredo. The The Special One fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Israel Tancredo should have stopped the shot. Israel Tancredo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roque Roso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 37 minute of play. After 44 minutes, Desiderio Olo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Special One and the Santa Fe players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Santa Fe booed when The Special One was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Olo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Santa Fe made a substitution. Mauricio Montes replaced Santi Ogazón. After a rather tough play, Santa Fe's Rolando Madaleno got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Santa Fe's goalkeeper Silverio Sanson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mete Verga. In the 59th minute, Desiderio Olo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th match minute, Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Lalla to maneuver through the defense. Israel Tancredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Fernando Pratto went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Santa Fe's Eliott Pépin was substituted for Rolando Madaleno. Silverio Sanson made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Mete Verga sent off a good shot on target. After 72 minutes Santa Fe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Agustin Ilazki who took care of the corner kick. The corner led The Special One's Agustin Ilazki to fire away a dangerous shot which Silverio Sanson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Roque Roso sped through The Special One's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Israel Tancredo. 76 minutes into the match, Roque Roso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Israel Tancredo. The Special One's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roque Roso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. In the 82nd minute Juan Fernando Pratto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Tancredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliott Pépin charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliott Pépin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliott Pépin to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Desiderio Olo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silverio Sanson. Santa Fe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Desiderio Olo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. 96 minutes into the match, The Special One's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Roso came free, but Israel Tancredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santa Fe were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of The Special One for a fine match.
