The The Special One fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Israel Tancredo should have stopped the shot. Israel Tancredo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roque Roso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 37 minute of play. After 44 minutes, Desiderio Olo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Special One and the Santa Fe players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Santa Fe booed when The Special One was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Olo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led The Special One's Agustin Ilazki to fire away a dangerous shot which Silverio Sanson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Roque Roso sped through The Special One's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Israel Tancredo. 76 minutes into the match, Roque Roso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Israel Tancredo.
