After 12 played minutes, Los Hijos del Papá's Clemente Abeitia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clay Thacker came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Hijos del Papá reached it. In the 15th minute, Sven-Ove Karlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo Arista was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Hernan Matxin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hernan Matxin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 28 minutes into the match, Hernan Matxin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfredo Arista, 2-0. After 31 played minutes Los Hijos del Papá got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Shantala. Clay Thacker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Karlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Tafna's Clay Thacker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Villarreal in the 38th minute of play. With a little luck, Los Hijos del Papá's Alfredo Arista got control of the ball when 姚挺斐 tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, Tafna's 姚挺斐 made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Arista was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Villarreal to make the kick off. Alfredo Arista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 姚挺斐, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Hijos del Papá's Alfredo Arista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Matxin in the 53rd minute of play. Sven-Ove Karlsson struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Clay Thacker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Hijos del Papá. Alberto Villarreal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clay Thacker made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Sven-Ove Karlsson sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Tafna's Osvaldo Benet got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 66 minutes, Severo Teodor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Hijos del Papá and the Tafna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Los Hijos del Papá got a freekick which was hit by Severo Teodor. The supporters of Tafna booed when Los Hijos del Papá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lefter-Can-Gökdeniz Abdurähmanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Ove Karlsson got free with Clay Thacker in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabio Eriz's late challenge caught a Los Hijos del Papá's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Eriz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tafna's Fabio Eriz got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The long shot by Clemente Abeitia in the 72nd minute really tested Clay Thacker's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 76 minutes into the match, Tafna's goalkeeper Clay Thacker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Villarreal. In the 80th match minute, Los Hijos del Papá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Abeitia to maneuver through the defense. After 82 played minutes Tafna got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Benet.
