Lisandro Calisto hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ambrosio Lobo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rayos GDL's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Lobo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmiro Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delmiro Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Gergori in the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Marciano Ruy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Casa Grande FC's Severino Florian tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 11th match minute, Rayos GDL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Arnau to maneuver through the defense. If Javier Pirmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrosio Lobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Delmiro Neto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafino Gergori's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. With his leg Delmiro Neto managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Rayos GDL's Ambrosio Lobo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Casa Grande FC's goalkeeper Delmiro Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Serafino Gergori rounded Casa Grande FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. A hard shot 30 in the game by Ambrosio Lobo from a close distance when the talented Delmiro Neto managed to make a qualified save. Casa Grande FC's players were relieved. Benito Igon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafino Gergori blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delmiro Neto having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafino Gergori stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Serafino Gergori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Txartiko made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Javier Pirmin sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 68 minutes, Javier Pirmin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casa Grande FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Pirmin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delmiro Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Gergori in the 71st minute of the match. Serafino Gergori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmiro Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Gergori in the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Serafino Gergori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Casa Grande FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Gergori came free, but Delmiro Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Ambrosio Lobo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ambrosio Lobo in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delmiro Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rayos GDL's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
