After 8 minutes of play, Ibarlucea's Hermengildo Gotzon made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Galtero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santos Jakes scored 2-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Etxepare, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Puebla de la Franja F.C.'s Rolando Theodore got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute of the match, Hermengildo Gotzon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Flavio Galtero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Puebla de la Franja F.C. getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Santos Jakes hit a great ball. Hermengildo Gotzon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Flavio Galtero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hermengildo Gotzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Flavio Galtero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Jakes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Puebla de la Franja F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Venancio Ranolfo hit a great ball. Flavio Galtero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Caitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Hermengildo Gotzon made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Galtero. Puebla de la Franja F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 71st minute Esteve Elodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Galtero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute Ibarlucea were awarded a corner. Gaspar Castel went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ibarlucea's Gaspar Castel to fire away a dangerous shot which Flavio Galtero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Puebla de la Franja F.C. defense, Hermengildo Gotzon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Galtero. The Puebla de la Franja F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Galtero should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute, Esteve Elodio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ibarlucea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Esteve Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Ibarlucea players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
