After having played for 3 minutes, Benicio Tonete managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Colibries's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Tonete was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute Edgard Llope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Millrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Grütly FC defense, Antonio Evarado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Millrick. The Grütly FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Millrick should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Grütly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Tonete came free, but Everardo Millrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Delmar Abeita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Millrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Modestio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Jesus Modestio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everardo Millrick. Grütly FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jesus Modestio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Edgard Llope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Everardo Millrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Tonete in the 30th minute of play. Delmar Abeita kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Benicio Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Urdaspal hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Edgard Llope ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Everardo Millrick was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benicio Tonete in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Millrick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Everardo Millrick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgard Llope went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, FC Colibries's Antonio Evarado got a free kick in the 54th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Grütly FC's goalkeeper Everardo Millrick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseo Iraunkor. With a little luck, Grütly FC's Everardo Millrick got control of the ball when Antonio Evarado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Everardo Millrick made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Benicio Tonete sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Jesus Modestio took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Everardo Millrick to make any attempt to save it. Benicio Tonete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Benicio Tonete could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Everardo Millrick however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Grütly FC's Everardo Millrick got control of the ball when Benicio Tonete tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmar Abeita during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Colibries booed when Grütly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Abeita didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Colibries's Atilano Mincho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Everardo Millrick. That made the score 0-7 after 86 minutes of play. 90 minutes into the game, FC Colibries's Benicio Tonete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Everardo Millrick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. With a little luck, Grütly FC's Everardo Millrick got control of the ball when Benicio Tonete tried to sneak it across the goal line.
