Carmelo Beturian was left in no man's land by his defense there! 9 minutes into the match, Correcaminos's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Madaleno came free, but Carmelo Beturian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Jurgi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franciszek Perkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Silviano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Honorio Madaleno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carmelo Beturian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Honorio Madaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Carmelo Beturian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Correcaminos's goalkeeper Carmelo Beturian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Honorio Madaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Carmelo Beturian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Futbol Club Sonora's Honorio Madaleno got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antonio Jurgi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carmelo Beturian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Madaleno in the 45th minute of the match. Antonio Jurgi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Carmelo Beturian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Futbol Club Sonora's Aristides Berart was substituted for Enzo Theodore. Futbol Club Sonora's Lucas Igon was substituted for Antonio Jurgi.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorio Madaleno to strike the kick off in the second half. Carmelo Beturian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Igon, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, one of Correcaminos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 58 played minutes Correcaminos got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Rius. 60 minutes into the match, Honorio Madaleno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carmelo Beturian. Correcaminos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Madaleno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 63rd minute, Honorio Madaleno made a precise shot to the right of Carmelo Beturian. Correcaminos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After 69 minutes, Angelo Rius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Correcaminos and the Futbol Club Sonora players grew even worse after the yellow card. Angelo Rius hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Lucas Igon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futbol Club Sonora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Igon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Correcaminos's goalkeeper Carmelo Beturian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match Honorio Madaleno climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-7 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Carmelo Beturian. Carmelo Beturian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Igon, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Honorio Madaleno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Futbol Club Sonora getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Aristides Berart hit a great ball. Rodolfo Noe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 100th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Franciszek Perkowski. Futbol Club Sonora's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Futbol Club Sonora's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
