In the 10th minute, Honorio Madaleno made a precise shot to the right of Timoteo Tauro. PAQUETES FUTBOL CLUB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Timoteo Tauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Igon, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Lucas Igon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Tauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, PAQUETES FUTBOL CLUB's Evaristo Endira got a free kick in the 20th minute. Clodoveo Eron ran back to his position shaking his head. Timoteo Tauro was a little too slow when Honorio Madaleno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Monico made a kick off. Aaron Paz hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A collision led to Futbol Club Sonora getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Perivaldo Gerber hit a great ball. After 75 minutes of play, Futbol Club Sonora's Lucas Igon made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Timoteo Tauro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timoteo Tauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Igon in the 81st minute of play. PAQUETES FUTBOL CLUB's Timoteo Tauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Igon in the 82nd minute of play. Mateo Perutxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Franciszek Perkowski made a huge save. Antonio Jurgi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timoteo Tauro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Futbol Club Sonora had played much better football throughout.
