When Marcelo Gaztea came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Bumipunco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Gaztea couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Real Samesta FC's zone, Norberto Niva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Gamus came out of the goal and Norberto Niva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Astor Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Niva, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bumipunco's zone, Cecilio Su stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Pacorro came out of the goal and Cecilio Su tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Pacorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Cordeal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Real Samesta FC were awarded a corner. Tadeo Tome went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Real Samesta FC's corner Tadeo Tome fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Igor Pacorro quite easily take care of the ball. Norberto Niva scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Astor Gamus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute Norberto Niva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Gamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Gaztea, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Norberto Niva made a precise shot to the right of Astor Gamus. Real Samesta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Norberto Niva came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Bumipunco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Niva couldn't finish the play. Bumipunco's Amancio Macerio got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Generoso Havier hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Amancio Macerio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Astor Gamus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Marcelo Gaztea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Gamus having to interfere. Norberto Niva struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Astor Gamus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bumipunco. Real Samesta FC's attentive Tobias Arias managed to snatch the ball when Aristides Suero made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. When Marcelo Gaztea came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Bumipunco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Gaztea couldn't finish the play. The Real Samesta FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bumipunco were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Cordeal was the one to do the kick off. Bumipunco's Norberto Niva got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Astor Gamus made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Marcelino Elorri sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Real Samesta FC's Tobias Arias got a free kick in the 55th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Astor Gamus successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Bumipunco getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Rolando Tuste hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Niva in the 60th minute of play forced Real Samesta FC's goalkeeper Astor Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norberto Niva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Samesta FC's Astor Gamus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Real Samesta FC from getting a goal against them. Norberto Niva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Niva in the 71st minute of play forced Real Samesta FC's goalkeeper Astor Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astor Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Niva, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Aristides Suero made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Real Samesta FC's Tobias Arias. Real Samesta FC's Astor Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Gaztea in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Bumipunco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Niva to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Norberto Niva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Astor Gamus was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Amancio Macerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Gamus having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Marcelo Gaztea notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Real Samesta FC's Astor Gamus. Astor Gamus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bumipunco's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
