Concetto Zarrella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Niva in the 37th minute of the match. Severiano Berdoi hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Norberto Niva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Concetto Zarrella was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 46 minutes, Marcelo Gaztea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bumipunco and the FC Cimarrones players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Marcelo Gaztea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zoltán Sámuel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, one of Bumipunco:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bumipunco. Jacobo Lucila placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Zoltán Sámuel hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. FC Cimarrones were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
