Spectators: 6836 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Delmar Rocio made the kick off which started today's match. If Rogelio Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rogelio Markel sped through Ybarlucea's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelino Gustau. After 11 played minutes Norumbega got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Ramond. Marcelino Gustau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Markel in the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epifanio Garikoitz in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelino Gustau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Norumbega's goalkeeper Fernan Veto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Venancio Mederi. Epifanio Garikoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Marcelino Gustau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogelio Markel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelino Gustau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Markel in the 28th minute of play. Ybarlucea's Marcelino Gustau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Markel in the 35th minute of play. Rogelio Markel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Gustau having to interfere. Venancio Mederi in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fernan Veto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rogelio Markel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fernan Veto came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ybarlucea's Delmar Rocio. But to his dismay, Delmar Rocio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 56th minute, Rogelio Markel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Epifanio Garikoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Gustau came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Norumbega's Rogelio Markel. But to his dismay, Rogelio Markel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Venancio Mederi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernan Veto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Ybarlucea's Marcelino Gustau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Markel in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Markel in the 68th minute of play forced Ybarlucea's goalkeeper Marcelino Gustau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ybarlucea booed when Norumbega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Garaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venancio Mederi struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Fernan Veto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ybarlucea. Delmar Rocio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th match minute, Norumbega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Reynardo to maneuver through the defense. After 83 minutes, Edgardo Egoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Norumbega and the Ybarlucea players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Norumbega getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Edgardo Egoi hit a great ball. When Delmar Rocio came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ybarlucea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Rocio couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambrosio Ramirez during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match was over Norumbega could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ybarlucea throughout the match.
