The supporters of Barrancas booed when Malargüe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Argina didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Armando Chus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Barrancas's zone, Victorio Gau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berkay Yazar came out of the goal and Victorio Gau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrancas's goalkeeper Berkay Yazar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bülent Mölle made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Barrancas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Ereinotz to maneuver through the defense. If Lisandro Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Lain struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Albano Rios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrancas. After 64 played minutes Malargüe FC got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Argina. Aldo Sazon kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, Barrancas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Eskuin to maneuver through the defense. Gus Brook recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 93 minutes, Gus Brook managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malargüe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gus Brook was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Barrancas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
