Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Norumbega's Rogelio Markel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Saul Raymond came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Tanti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Raymond couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Tanti defense, Epifanio Garikoitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erubiel Rodas. The Tanti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erubiel Rodas should have stopped the shot. Đặng Nghiêm-Minh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Veto having to interfere. Erubiel Rodas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Ramirez in the 19th minute of play. Epifanio Garikoitz took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erubiel Rodas. Erubiel Rodas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Epifanio Garikoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Norumbega fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Norumbega's Eulalio Garaona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Đặng Nghiêm-Minh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Erubiel Rodas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eulalio Garaona succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 39th playminute. Đặng Nghiêm-Minh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Veto having to interfere. Ismael Sugoi charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Sugoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tanti getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ismael Sugoi hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Đặng Nghiêm-Minh to strike the kick off in the second half. Đặng Nghiêm-Minh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fernan Veto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tanti's Erubiel Rodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Garikoitz in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Garaona in the 60th minute of play forced Tanti's goalkeeper Erubiel Rodas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Garikoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Rodas having to interfere. After 71 minutes of play, Norumbega's Epifanio Garikoitz made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erubiel Rodas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the match, Tanti's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Garikoitz came free, but Erubiel Rodas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epifanio Garikoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erubiel Rodas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Garikoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes Tanti got a freekick which was hit by Đặng Nghiêm-Minh. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Garikoitz in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erubiel Rodas saved Tanti from getting behind. Tanti's Erubiel Rodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Garikoitz in the 88th minute of play. Epifanio Garikoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norumbega's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
