Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) Lisandro Urti started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nemesio Argina, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 7 minutes, Gonzalo Merexildo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malargüe FC and the Quiroga players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Malargüe FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Merexildo. In the 11th minute, Nemesio Argina sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Quiroga's Jorge Loren didn't even have to move. Malargüe FC's Gus Brook got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albano Rios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Estebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Malargüe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Estebe came free, but Albano Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, Quiroga's Leonides Tome made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albano Rios was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Malargüe FC's Albano Rios got control of the ball when Anastasio Ferrando tried to sneak it across the goal line. German Aires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jorge Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Haritzeder hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Eliseo Estebe made the kick off in the second half. If Leonides Tome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Malargüe FC defense, Eliseo Estebe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albano Rios. The Malargüe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albano Rios should have stopped the shot. Albano Rios came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Quiroga's Leonides Tome. But to his dismay, Leonides Tome quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Amancio Filipo charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amancio Filipo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amancio Filipo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the game, Victorio Gau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malargüe FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quiroga the free kick. In the 78th minute Leonides Tome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anier Asur charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anier Asur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, Quiroga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Asur to maneuver through the defense. Malargüe FC's Albano Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Tome in the 96th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Quiroga could leave the field as winners, despite Malargüe FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
