After a rather tough play, Quiroga's Ruperto Rexino got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute Leonides Tome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Guter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Chuan during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 22 minutes into the match, Villanos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Tome came free, but Omar Guter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leonides Tome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Guter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Estebe in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Leonides Tome cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Omar Guter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonides Tome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruperto Rexino hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. A collision led to Quiroga getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Ruperto Rexino hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustacio Locaio made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Villanos FC's goalkeeper Omar Guter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute Eustacio Locaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Quiroga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Filipo to maneuver through the defense. Quiroga's Jorge Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Locaio in the 60th minute of play. If Eliseo Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Loren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Locaio in the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Villanos FC's Efrain Fortun got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saverio Formerio during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Quiroga were furious when Omar Nazario was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Candido Seguinus made in the 86th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Danilo Jeraldo however managed to control. Jorge Loren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Chuan went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Quiroga's zone, Danilo Jeraldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Loren came out of the goal and Danilo Jeraldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Saverio Formerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quiroga's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Formerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Guter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
