In the 24th minute, Eliseo Froila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albano Rios was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sabin Lesnea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Malargüe FC's zone, Eliseo Froila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Rios came out of the goal and Eliseo Froila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sabin Lesnea got free with Albano Rios in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sabin Lesnea in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Albano Rios, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eliseo Froila might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albano Rios. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Froila ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Alfredo Villagarcia in the 67th minute of play forced Malargüe FC's goalkeeper Albano Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Malargüe FC's German Aires got a free kick in the 67th minute. Zeus FC's Eliseo Froila got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute of the match, Eliseo Froila tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Albano Rios saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jaime Gregory charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Gregory the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Malargüe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albano Rios should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the match, Juan-Alfredo Villagarcia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albano Rios. Malargüe FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan-Alfredo Villagarcia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. German Aires's late challenge caught a Zeus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Aires helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, German Aires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85thth minute of the game Faustino Veronica who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malargüe FC's Albano Rios was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juan-Alfredo Villagarcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Albano Rios made a huge save. With a little luck, Malargüe FC's Albano Rios got control of the ball when Sabin Lesnea tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Faustino Veronica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Malargüe FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Conrado Beltza hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Malargüe FC's zone, Faustino Veronica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Rios came out of the goal and Faustino Veronica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th match minute, Malargüe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Merexildo to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Zeus FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Malargüe FC.
