In the 8th minute Epifanio Garikoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Guter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Villanos FC's zone, Epifanio Garikoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Guter came out of the goal and Epifanio Garikoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Epifanio Garikoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norumbega's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanio Garikoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rogelio Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Guter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Markel in the 18th minute of play. Omar Guter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Markel in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Norumbega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Otsoko to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Villanos FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Fernan Ixaka hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Norumbega's zone, Danilo Jeraldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Veto came out of the goal and Danilo Jeraldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute of the match Jonas Tiadoro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omar Guter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rogelio Markel hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 48 minutes of play, Villanos FC's Eustacio Locaio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernan Veto was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustacio Locaio was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Epifanio Garikoitz could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Omar Guter however easily saved by the left post. Omar Guter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Epifanio Garikoitz in the 59th minute. Epifanio Garikoitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Omar Guter made a huge save. Omar Guter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Markel in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Norumbega's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Locaio came free, but Fernan Veto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute of the match Israel Bela shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernan Veto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 81 played minutes, Villanos FC's Israel Bela shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fernan Veto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villanos FC reached it. Claudio Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Chuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Fernan Veto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 99th minute, Claudio Chuan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villanos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.
