Fanegas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Norumbega the free kick. The Fanegas FC fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Fanegas FC's Alejandro Jatsu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epifanio Garikoitz was the one to do the kick off. Norumbega's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanio Garikoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Fernan Veto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Erich Gronow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fanegas FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
