The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Chuan got free with Albano Rios in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, Claudio Chuan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albano Rios, 2-0. Malargüe FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Claudio Chuan scored to the left of an out of position Albano Rios, making the score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
