In the 20th minute, Honorio Salamon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leleque AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrancas's goalkeeper Berkay Yazar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Leleque AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Lain came free, but Narciso Berart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Eyague made a kick off. After 63 minutes, Hugo Romildo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leleque AFC and the Barrancas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bülent Mölle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Narciso Berart made a huge save. The supporters of Barrancas booed when Leleque AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Erauso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Erauso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leleque AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrancas the free kick.
