Armando Tavio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Timoteo Sugoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Bazil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Tavio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of CF Leones booed when Black Jaguars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Oinaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Tavio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Bazil in the 13th minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Black Jaguars got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Etor. Black Jaguars's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Timoteo Sugoi scored to the left of an out of position Armando Tavio, making the score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Apolo Eneas to make the kick off. After 59 minutes, Roque Oinaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Jaguars and the CF Leones players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cipriano Gilesindo during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of CF Leones booed when Black Jaguars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Gilesindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Bazil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Timoteo Sugoi made a precise shot to the right of Armando Tavio. Black Jaguars's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A collision led to CF Leones getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Timoteo Sugoi hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Carolo Calixto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Jaguars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CF Leones the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Black Jaguars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Calixto to maneuver through the defense. Roque Oinaz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Sugoi in the 90th minute of play forced Black Jaguars's goalkeeper Armando Tavio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Lugo during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in CF Leones fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, Black Jaguars's Eriberto Flor got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Isidoro Bernebe. 99 minutes into the game, CF Leones's Timoteo Sugoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Tavio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. When the referee ended the match the CF Leones players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
