The crowd rose to their feet as Palmarcito FC's Cornelio Rozarius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Celedonio Duardo. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Palmarcito FC's Arnulfo Frutos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Gaur in the 15th minute of play. Rogelio Ibar kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tilisarao's zone, Clemente Rencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Duardo came out of the goal and Clemente Rencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Palmarcito FC's Xerardo Tarin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Celedonio Duardo but with some difficulty. The Palmarcito FC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Palmarcito FC's Cornelio Rozarius looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arnulfo Frutos came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Tilisarao's Haroldo Intxixu. But to his dismay, Haroldo Intxixu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Lisandro Jaunti's late challenge caught a Palmarcito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Jaunti helped the player get up and apologised. Lisandro Jaunti kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciro Gaur was the one to do the kick off. Tilisarao's Celedonio Duardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Rozarius in the 54th minute of play. When Palmarcito FC's Luís Suarez in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tilisarao's goalie prevented a goal. After 56 minutes, Leo Quexal mouthed his way into the referee's book. Celedonio Duardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Celedonio Duardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Rozarius, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 74 played minutes, Palmarcito FC's Xerardo Tarin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Celedonio Duardo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palmarcito FC reached it. Luís Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the game, Cornelio Rozarius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Celedonio Duardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute, Haroldo Intxixu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Tilisarao's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Rencio came free, but Celedonio Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Luís Suarez came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Palmarcito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Suarez couldn't finish the play. Tilisarao's Celedonio Duardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Jon in the 91st minute of play. Palmarcito FC's Luís Suarez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Celedonio Duardo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Palmarcito FC had won after a very even match.
