Armando Tavio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Harriet, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Black Jaguars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eriberto Flor in the 14th minute. Sezgin Mehdi made a great header on Black Jaguars's corner, it was just that ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's Rodrigo Txeru managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Eriberto Evangelista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Tavio was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Eriberto Evangelista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Tavio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Victorino Walme recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodrigo Txeru. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Dalmacio Feo managed to get in a good position for a shot. ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Feo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Tavio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 played minutes Black Jaguars got a freekick which was hit by Roque Oinaz. In the 44th minute, Eloy Harriet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eriberto Evangelista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorino Walme to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Victorino Walme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 55 minutes, Victorino Pacifico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Pacifico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Black Jaguars's zone, Victorino Pacifico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Tavio came out of the goal and Victorino Pacifico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando Tavio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Evangelista in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Eloy Harriet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Elias Cesaro put in a rough tackle. Elias Cesaro kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Black Jaguars's Eriberto Flor got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's Rodrigo Txeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Walme in the 75th minute of play. Eloy Harriet's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Armando Tavio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Victorino Pacifico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmacio Feo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Tavio having to interfere. Eloy Harriet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dalmacio Feo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 89th playminute. After some careless play in the Black Jaguars defense, Eloy Harriet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Tavio. The Black Jaguars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Tavio should have stopped the shot. Eloy Harriet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
