In the 8thth minute of the game Luís Suarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Jaguars's Armando Tavio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Palmarcito FC's Arnulfo Frutos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Eneas in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Suarez in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Tavio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st match minute, Palmarcito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Rencio to maneuver through the defense. Armando Tavio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Black Jaguars's Armando Tavio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Suarez in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Black Jaguars's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Heriberto came free, but Armando Tavio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Silvestre Balasi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmarcito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Balasi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Luís Suarez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Armando Tavio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 45th play minutes Luís Suarez shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Armando Tavio and just under the crossbar into goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victorino Walme to strike the kick off in the second half. Armando Tavio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Suarez went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Black Jaguars's Armando Tavio got control of the ball when Luís Suarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Black Jaguars defense, Luís Suarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Tavio. The Black Jaguars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Tavio should have stopped the shot. Luís Suarez took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Tavio. Armando Tavio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Luís Suarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Armando Tavio made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Luís Suarez could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Armando Tavio however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Palmarcito FC's Cornelio Rozarius got a free kick in the 68th minute. Luís Suarez had several of the Black Jaguars's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Armando Tavio as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice moves Luís Suarez could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Armando Tavio however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Black Jaguars's Armando Tavio got control of the ball when Luís Suarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Black Jaguars getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Arnulfo Etor hit a great ball. Luís Suarez might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Tavio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Suarez ran back to his position shaking his head. Uriel Heriberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Armando Tavio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
