He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AFC Ajax reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Mirande in the 21st minute of play forced TORRES FC's goalkeeper Manuel Ibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Ibon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Oriche, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, TORRES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Maule came free, but Manuel Ibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulino Ramos was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Cornelio Viator capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cornelio Viator really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. In the 46th minute Niceto Mirande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaspar Sarracino was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of AFC Ajax booed when TORRES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Gumaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to AFC Ajax getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ambrosio Martino hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Arndt von Buol-Schaudenstein made a precise shot to the right of Paulino Ramos. AFC Ajax's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After some careless play in the AFC Ajax defense, Gaspar Sarracino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulino Ramos. The AFC Ajax fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulino Ramos should have stopped the shot. AFC Ajax's Paulino Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Sarracino in the 91st minute of play. When the referee ended the match the TORRES FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
