LAUTARO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chedraui the free kick. Cornelio Cordaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes LAUTARO FC got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Giraldo. A hard shot 10 in the game by Cornelio Cordaro from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Iturri managed to make a qualified save. LAUTARO FC's players were relieved. Cornelio Cordaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Joaquin Iturri made a huge save. Cornelio Cordaro scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Iturri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Policarpio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Joaquin Iturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Omero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th match minute, Chedraui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Bitxintxo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 32 minutes, Tomas Policarpio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chedraui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Policarpio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Policarpio in the 33rd minute of play forced LAUTARO FC's goalkeeper Joaquin Iturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Constancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Espiridion, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 36th minute, Fermin Vergaray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see LAUTARO FC's Rogelio Nuno in action when he in the 38th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Policarpio in the 43rd minute of play forced LAUTARO FC's goalkeeper Joaquin Iturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Policarpio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Cornelio Cordaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Iturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 played minutes LAUTARO FC got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Giraldo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cornelio Cordaro in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Iturri saved LAUTARO FC from getting behind. In the 61st match minute, Chedraui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Cordaro to maneuver through the defense. Octavio Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Omero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Bitxintxo during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of LAUTARO FC booed when Chedraui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Bitxintxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Constancio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquin Iturri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Cordaro in the 91st minute of the match. In the 95th minute of the match, Danilo Espiridion tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gilberto Constancio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
