Cosme Laurendi spun around in front of the goal 10 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Club Atl. Cerillo's goal. Cosme Laurendi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jordi Roca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme Laurendi couldn't finish the play. Jordi Roca was a little too slow when Cezary Gierlach got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Su during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 63 minutes into the match, Cosme Laurendi notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Club Atl. Cerillo's Jordi Roca. Jordi Roca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cosme Laurendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jordi Roca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jordi Roca didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as NUEVO CHIVAS's Cezary Gierlach slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jordi Roca. That made the score 1-4 after 88 minutes of play. Cosme Laurendi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Jordi Roca made a huge save.
