A hard shot 14 in the game by Cosme Laurendi from a close distance when the talented Conrado Tiso managed to make a qualified save. Campeones FC's players were relieved. Maximiliano Dolcet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yavuz Selimhan Yağızkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Maximiliano Dolcet might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yavuz Selimhan Yağızkan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Dolcet ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to NUEVO CHIVAS getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. German Tello hit a great ball. With a little luck, Campeones FC's Conrado Tiso got control of the ball when Folke Rosin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Conrado Tiso was a little too slow when Denis Reyes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 32nd minute, Eleuterio Galoer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Maximiliano Dolcet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campeones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Dolcet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yavuz Selimhan Yağızkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Patxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuz Selimhan Yağızkan having to interfere. Yavuz Selimhan Yağızkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Dolcet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Ulizes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Alfredo Patxi made the kick off in the second half. Conrado Tiso came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by NUEVO CHIVAS's Denis Reyes. But to his dismay, Denis Reyes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Ulizes in the 57th minute of play forced Campeones FC's goalkeeper Conrado Tiso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Tiso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Laurendi in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of NUEVO CHIVAS booed when Campeones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Tohias didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Breno Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Cosme Laurendi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute Denis Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Tiso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Dolcet succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 72nd playminute. In the 77th minute, Jaime Ulizes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NUEVO CHIVAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Campeones FC's Conrado Tiso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Laurendi in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. NUEVO CHIVAS fully deserved thier win.
