A collision led to Tigres UANL getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Octavio Venceslas hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Tigres UANL's Fernan Laffitte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jordi Roca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Anier Efraim took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jordi Roca. Jordi Roca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After having played for 25 minutes, Efrain Feliu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atl. Cerillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Feliu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jordi Roca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Sanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Eusebiu Tender tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anier Efraim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jordi Roca having to make a save. A collision led to Club Atl. Cerillo getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Nunez Orlandus hit a great ball. Jordi Roca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anier Efraim's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

In the 56th minute Anier Efraim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordi Roca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Club Atl. Cerillo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anier Efraim fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Anier Efraim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Jordi Roca made a huge save. Anier Efraim scored 0-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jordi Roca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tigres UANL's Samuel Etxahun was substituted for Anier Efraim. After having played for 73 minutes, Samuel Etxahun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigres UANL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Etxahun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Serafin Raebert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Sanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Feliu in the 86th minute of play forced Tigres UANL's goalkeeper Eusebiu Tender to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tigres UANL's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
